This work is in lovely condition. The canvas is well stretched. The paint layer is clean. It seems to be unvarnished, although there are some slightly shinier spots here and there. No retouches are apparent. There are two small white spots in the sky and another in the foreground beneath the rear hooves of the smaller horse. It is unclear if these are original. The black tape around the sides of the work may need some attention, but the work can otherwise be hung as is.
