Condition
The stage set comprises 13 panels in total. The The canvas is creased and worn throughout with some associated paint loss, commensurate with age and use. There are several tears and stains throughout. The canvas of the central backdrop was cut at the time of creation to make an opening, which was originally concealed with a wooden swan no longer in existence.
