Condition

This work is in very good condition. Collage on paper mounted on card, which has been hinged at two places along the upper edge. Numbered '21367' by another hand on the mount. Inscribed 'oeuvre cat. no. 618 1928-30' and stamped indistinctly on the verso of the mount. The collage is stable and the colors, particularly the blue in the center of the sheet, are remarkably bright and fresh. There are four nicks along the left edge of the sheet, particularly along the lower half of the left edge. There are slight scattered stains from the collage adhesive, with a single loss approximately 0.5cm in diameter at the upper right corner. The sheet is slightly toned due to an acidic mount; this is not visible when the work is framed. There is minor, scattered staining to the sheet and mount.
