Condition
The board is sound. Examination under UV light reveals areas of fluorescence which appear to pertain to the choice of pigments and the uneven application of varnish, including in places along the edges and some areas to the white pigment at the centre of the composition. There is a fine scratch to the sky in the upper right quadrant, some evidence of frame rubbing to the extreme edges and some minor scattered flecks of white paint relating to studio conditions. This work is in overall good condition.
