Condition

CASE Please note that the orignal Certificate of Origin is torn. A facsimile is also available. The case is in good condition with surface scratching throughout. The case likely received previous professional polish in its past, however, the engraving and monogram remains deep and well defined. Some wear to the slide. DIAL The dial is in good overall condition with no visible signs of cracks. MOVEMENT Some spots of oxidation to the movement plates. The movement is in good overall condition, with tarnishing and oxidation present on the bridges and plate. A full service to operate the chime of the repeater is necessary, and strongly recommended. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
