Condition

Case: The case is in very good overall condition, and in our view, may have seen a very light sympathetic polishing once in its past. The lugs remain thick and well proportioned to the case. The case has some surface scratching throughout from wear. The bracelet is in very good overall condition, with minor surface scratching visible throughout. The inner caseback is stamped 6262. Dial: The dial is superb. The luminous hour markers have aged to an appealing shade of creamy beige, and are all intact. The silvered subsidiary dials have a very attractive shine to them, and are absolutely fascinating to look at. Movement: The movement is in very good overall condition. The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement
