Catalogue Note

Patek Philippe's legendary Chronometro Gondolo was originally introduced in 1927. The name Gondolo was registered in 1902 and refers to the legendary Brazilian retailer Gondolo & Labouriau that represented Patek Philippe from around 1872.   In 2007, Patek Philippe paid homage to the beloved watch by launching reference 5098 in platinum. The watch features a wonderful guilloché dial, and a very discreet diamond set within the case between the lugs at 6 o'clock, the firm's signature for platinum timepieces.
