Catalogue Note

Originally launched in 2012, the reference 5940 pays tribute to the tortue shape popular with Patek Philippe during the late 1920s. It also represents the first time the firm presented a perpetual calendar complication dressed in this bold shape. The present model with black dial was not available until 2015 and was made in a limited production run, as the reference was discontinued in 2017.
