CASE Case in overall very good condition with some very light wear. Bezel and lugs with some light superficial scuffs. Case back engraved with the Hermes "H" logo. DIAL Dial in excellent condition. Suspension engaged with button at 9. MOVEMENT Suspension and retrograde date operating. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. While known for their leather goods, Hermès has been producing watches since the first half of the 20th century, and manufacturing their own mechanical watch movements since 2003.

The Temps Suspendu adds a module to the ébauche to create the illusion of time stopping by suspending the hour and minute hands next to the 12 o'clock index when initiated. Meanwhile, the watch continues to track the time until the wearer disables the suspension via the button on the case band.  

The watch was named the Best Man's Watch at the 2011 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève.
