Catalogue Note

Launched in 2008, Vacheron Constantin's Quail de L'Ile collection boasts several unique qualities including an anti-counterfeit technology to the dial inspired by currency printing techniques. The case is highly modular, with nine independent pieces fitted onto a central mount. This unusual construction allows collectors to create a custom case with any combination of metals; with 400 different combinations possible, each model could be considered a pièce unique. In addition, should the case become dented or damaged an individual part can be replaced rather than repair the damage or replace the entire case.
The present lot features a case in titanium, a highly durable and lightweight material for comfortable wear.
