• 8½-inch engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals signed Aime Jacob No. 35, steel Breguet hands and sweep seconds, weight-driven four pillar movement with deadbeat escapement and adjustable pallets mounted outside the backplate, the reverse of the dial, the dial plate and the backplate stamped Souscription Aimé Jacob No. 35, high-count train with six wheels, the heavy pendulum with brass bob and wood rod, separately suspended from the cast iron bracket on which the movement rests, the weight pendant from a pulley and roller from the ceiling of the interior, the mahogany case with moulded cornice, the door with ebonized moulded lining incorporating a barometer with silvered plates and two thermometers, the base with ebonized stringing raised on a plinth.
