Catalogue Note

Reference 5029 was specially created in 1997 to mark the inauguration of Patek Philippe’s new watchmaking center in Geneva. The present minute repeating reference was manufactured in a limited edition of 10 examples each in yellow gold, pink gold and platinum only. The watch features a hinged case back that is engraved with Commemoration 1997, revealing one of the most beautiful calibres that Patek Philippe has ever created. The watch is powered by calibre R27 PS automatic movement, which incorporates an oscillating mini-rotor that permits more space for the two minute repeating gongs, making the minute repeating much louder and richer.

Complete with all original accessories and offered in unused condition, the present watch with melodious chimes is an enchantingly refined watch that will mesmerize any discerning collector and is truly a contemporary classic.
