Catalogue Note

Now discontinued and replaced by the successor reference 5270, reference 5970 perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch was available from 2004 until 2011. It was Patek Philippe’s very last perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch series to be fitted with a Lemania 2310 based movement. Reference 5970 has enjoyed many variations such as case metal and gem-set bezel, however, the present example cased in platinum featuring a black dial is the most sought after version, which is made rarer still due to its luminous hands. The hands were mounted by the original owner due to a need to see time more clearly in the dark.

Complete with all original accessories and offered in excellent condition, the present watch is a very fine and impressive example of reference 5970P.
