Catalogue Note

Reference 16520 is the first automatic Daytona to have been manufactured and sold by Rolex. With a production time of approximately 10 years, many different variations of the dial have been recognized by collectors today, and the most popular versions would be either the “Floating Cosmograph” or the ones with a tropical subsidiary dial. The present watch is a W-series 16520 that can be recognized by having a dial without the “inverted 6”.
