Condition

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing but the battery will require replacement periodically. The band with minor surface wear throughout, visible with the naked eye. Catalogue Note

Vacheron Constantin was awarded the much coveted Diplôme du Prestige de la France in honour to the brand’s technical expertise in 1972. The brand has created an asymmetrical model to commemorate this distinction. The present 1972 wristwatch pays tribute to the original model and features a curved asymmetrical case. Along with its sleek silhouette, the watch is further embellished with pave-set diamonds, giving it a distinctive aura of elegance. The watch is set with 277 brilliant-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.84 carats.
