Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Jaeger-LeCoultre loupe, instruction manual and presentation box. Jaeger-LeCoultre presents this hand-painted enamel scene in a limited edition of 5 examples from the Reverso à Éclipses series featuring the majestic scene of Great Wall. Historically, the maison always features its enameled miniatures on the case back of Reverso. However, by revealing the work of art under the gold shutters, it allows the dial to remain metallic and secretive when the shutters are closed.
Offered by a private collector in unused condition, the present lot is numbered 1/5 in the series.
