Catalogue Note
The use of platinum in jewelry was a relatively new trend, eventually becoming normalized during the end of the 19th century. Hence, platinum as the bracelet metal was particularly popular during the 1920s. According to our research, the present bracelet watch was manufactured in 1922 and sold in New York in 1923. After Audemars Piguet created the movement, hands and silvered dial, it was then sent to jewellers to be fitted on an enticing bracelet. This beautiful Audemars Piguet bracelet watch is entirely set in diamonds, finishing with subtle blend of emeralds and enamel. The artisans had perfected the manipulation of platinum and jewels to create incredible intricate designs and conveyed serene elegance.
