• cal. 28-255C automatic movement, stamped with the Geneva seal, 36 jewels • black ribbed dial, applied luminous white gold baton indexes and hands, aperture for date • stainless steel Nautilus case • case, dial and movement signed • with a stainless steel Patek Philippe bracelet and folding clasp
Condition
The movement in working condition at the time of cataloguing, the date functions are working properly. The dial with signs of tarnishing at places. The indexes with signs of wear throughout, however the luminous materials has aged beautifully. The hands may have been possibly replaced during a servicing. The bezel with signs of wear throughout but particularly at 12 o'clock. The band with wear specifically at 9 o'clock. The case back with signs of wear toward the center and tiny pinhead at 12 o'clock. The bracelet with minor surface wear to the center links. Overall a very attractive watch. * Please note that the movement has not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's expense. Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives. The presently watch, known as the 'Jumbo' Nautilus, is the largest of the vintage Nautilus series. Reference 3700 was launched in 1976 and was designed by Gerald Genta. Production continued until 1998.
