Condition
The movement is running, the dial is in very attractive and original condition. The hard enamel signature is beautifully raised. Some minor tarnishing to the numerals. The case is in absolute exceptional condition with very sharp edges and incredibly crisp hallmarks. The case is in unpolished condition. There isn't area of tarnish surrounding the crown but, this can be easily cleaned. The watch still retains it is in original velvet Patek Philippe strap. The Patek Philippe pin buckle is in very good condition. Overall, an extremely rare and in excellent overall condition. * Please note that the movement has not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and a service might be required at the buyer's expense. **The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information.**

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives and presentation box. Reference 2434 is fitted with a large case, elongated lugs and simple dial with applied indexes. The case is sleek, elegant and has taught lines inspired by the American automobile design of the time.
The present example is in extraordinary condition. The case boasts lovely faceted edges, sharp downturned lugs and very crisp gold marks to the side of the case and under the lugs. The hard enamel signature is nicely raised and the salmon dial further highlights this wonderful example. The gold has began to tarnish and the watch still retains its original Patek Philippe velvet strap.
An incredibly handsome example, we can see how this reference originally left the factory.
