Condition
The movement and all chronograph functions are in working condition at the time of cataloguing, the calendar functions are working properly. Dial is in excellent condition. Case in very good condition generally with only minor surface hairlines to the band and bezel. Service protective sticker is still intact to the case back. Hallmarks to the lugs are very crisp and easy to see. Lugs have good proportion and have a real definite with good fluting. Overall in very good condition. Please note that the movement has not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and a service might be required at the buyer's expense. **The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information.**

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin and an instruction manual. Consigned by a very important collector, the present pink gold 3970 has been retained in wonderful overall condition. The dial is excellent with no imperfections of any kind and the case is in exceptional. The flutting to the lugs is incredibly prominent and the hallmarks to the sides can easily been seen without the aid of a loupe.
