Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, an instruction manual and a presentation box. The elegance of reference 5098 is directly inspired by the Gondolo wristwatches produced in the early 1920's. The name Gondolo was registered in 1902 and refers to the legendary Brazilian retailer Gondolo & Labouriau that represented Patek Philippe from around 1872. For this once so important retailer, Patek Philippe crafted the exclusive Chronometro Gondolo collection for nearly thirty years. The present model transports the essence and design of the historic Chronometro Gondolo with perfect finesse.
