Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, instruction manual , an interchangeable solid case back, a setting pin and presentation box. Exemplifying the true art of watchmaking, the reference 5004 is the ultimate example of understated horology. The production of the reference 5004 commenced in 1995 and had a long run until it was finally retired in 2009. The reference also had the distinction of employing the last non-Patek Philippe in house chronograph calibre which was produced for them by Nouvelle Lemania. Recently replaced by the larger diameter reference 5204 with in-house movement, reference 5004 is one of the most iconic wristwatches from the company.

The present example has been kept in exceptional overall condition with strong fluted lugs, very crisp gold marks and retains all original accessories.

For similar example of the reference 5004, please see “Patek Philippe Wristwatches Vol. II” by Huber, Martin and Alan Banbery, pages 312.

For pink gold metal with the possibly unique pulsation dial, please refer to lot 2918.
