Catalogue Note

The present lot represents a true gem in the lineage of contemporary Rolex Daytona.   This reference 16519 features an exceedingly rare ‘Salmon’ dial produced in the late 1990s alongside the mother-of -pearl that usually adorns this reference. Its 18k white gold case works in perfect harmony and the combination of colour provides the watch great depth. While it is a shame that the dial failed to make the grade for full production their scarcity, today, makes them hugely desirable. The present lot is a watch that will surely catch the eye and command the appreciation of any discerning collector.
