Catalogue Note

This reference 16550 represents the another execution of this model, this time bearing a white dial. Interestingly a defect in the dials finishing meant that the dial, once crisp white, turned 'creamy' with age. Another discernible feature, separating this iterations from later ones is that the lume plots have a white gold surround as opposed to the blackened steel ones which would replace them.
