Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Gerald Genta presentation case.

Gerald Genta, who collaborated with many renowned Swiss watch manufacturer such as IWC, Universal Genève, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Cartier, started his own brand in 1969 which was known for its elaborate movements and craftsmanship, in particular his “sonneries” models. He was known to hand-design his watches (movements, cases and dials) and the development process could take up to 5 years to complete. This tourbillon minute repeater catches the eye with its decoratively hand engraved case and movement, which lets one imagine the hours it took to realise and the craftsmanship involved. The result is absolutely mesmerising.
