Condition

Oil on paper laid down on board. The sheet is unevenly trimmed along the upper and left edges, and the paperboard is visible along these edges. Artist's pinholes visible at the upper edges. Repaired tears are visible in the subject's hair and in the proper right part of her dress. Under UV light, these tears fluoresce, as do smaller areas around the pinholes' at the upper center edge, a small area at upper center and small area in the right background. Additionally, a few small areas of retouching to address craquelure around the neckline of the black dress. Ready to hang in its current condition.
