The inscription on back reads: "This decorative bottle was fabricated on 1 June 1888 in memory of J.M. Hoffman and his wife Helene, Rakasdia." Inscription on top at front reads: "With devotion in the temple." The inscription at rear reads: "May God be with us." The inscription at center reads: "Torah scroll."
