Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the lacquered red and black elements are softer and more subtle, exhibiting a wider range of tones than in the catalogue illustration. The lacquered elements with a series of minor scattered chips and losses throughout, partially visible in the catalogue illustration. An area near the base with a shallow indentation measuring approximately 1 x 3/8in. All of the above are consistent with age and gentle handling. A richly detailed and skilfully executed example.
