Condition

Overall in good condition. When viewed in person, the color is a slightly deeper and of a more reddish tonality, particularly to the drawers. The wooden surfaces with scuffs, scratches, nicks, and shallow indentations throughout as is typical with age. The top surface with a slight warp to the front board that has been professionally and sensitively stabilized. The two seams running horizontally across the top surface have been sensitively filled. The front edge with two minor areas of infill, each measuring approximately ½ inch and 1/8 inch. The lower rear section of the proper left side panel with 2 vertical hairline cracks, the longest approximately 9 inches and an area of veneer that is lifting slightly. The upper and lower rear sections of the proper right side panel with hairline cracks running vertically, 5 inches each and appears stable. The upper brass band on same panel is slightly loose. The top of the left proper door with a gentle warp which does not allow the doors to fully close. The right proper central door panel with light surface dirt. The upper left proper corner to the same door has been professionally and sensitively filled, measuring approx. 2 ½ inches. The central panels with some movement and seam separation partially visible in catalogue illustration with fine hairline cracks to the interior of each. The interior elements are a deeper red color, the edge of one shelf with minor loss to the veneer measuring approximately 1 1/4 inch. The bottom shelf has three areas that have been professionally and sensitively replaced, the largest measuring approx. 1 ½ x 2 inches. The brass elements with scattered oxidation throughout.
