Condition

Overall in good condition. The wooden surfaces present with scattered minor scuffs, scratches and indentations throughout. The rear upper proper left and right crossrail with tight hairline cracks which have been professionally and sensitively stabilised. Each with minor chips surrounding the area, each measuring approximately 2in. The proper left side has been professionally and sensitively filled. The proper front left join between the desk surface and rear frame has been professionally and sensitively stabilised. The rear frame with a hairline crack radiating upward into the bend which measures approximately 5 1/2 in. and appears stable. Minor separation between the drawer and he right proper supporting strut. The leather surface has been replaced at some point, is supple and presents with scattered scuffs and scratches. One key is provided. An elegant example of Austrian secessionist design.
