Condition

Overall very good condition. The copper and brass surfaces with minor scattered scuffs, scratches and oxidation throughout, consistent with age and gentle handling.The brass seam around the circumference of the body, partially visible in catalogue illustration. Upper section of the body with a minor shallow indentation measuring approximately ¼ inch in diameter. The ebonised wooden handles have been replaced. The lower handle is slightly loose and the upper handle with rubbing to the ebonized finish measuring approximately 3/8 x ¾ inches. One side of the upper brass handle near rim of vessel with a hairline crack measuring approximately 3/8 in but appears stable. The interior with scattered soiling, surface dirt and dust. A rare and large scale work by Dresser.
