Overall very good condition. The bronze base displays a rich red-brown patina with occasional minor scattered surface scratches and abrasions, traces of light surface soiling and oxidation to the recessed contours of the design, and some scattered minor wax drips, all consistent with age and gentle handling. The patina with some occasional light wear and with a small area of surface accretion (possibly adhesive residue) in the uppermost section of the bamboo, not visually detractive. With a period shade fitter and three ball screws. The favrile glass shade is in very good condition with scattered minute air bubbles, particulate inclusions, and minor surface irregularities inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The glass surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches and with some concentrated surface scratches around the bottom collar where the shade is installed into the base, not visible when the shade is assembled. The lower aperture of the shade with some expected fleabites around the circumference, consistent with age and gentle handling, and with one clamshell chip measuring approximately 1/4 inch wide on the edge of the aperture, not visible when the shade is assembled. A very attractive example of the model with beautifully executed pulled feather shade.
