Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the exterior glaze is a softer and slightly more muted watermelon red, presenting with gentle orange tones in the folds around the neck, deep and rich forest green detailing around the body, and mottled brown spots along the outer rim of the foot. The interior presents with burnt umber hues throughout. There is minor craquelure throughout the interior and exterior surfaces, visible on close inspection. The outer surfaces with minor scattered particulate inclusions, as well as two very minor burst air bubbles at the time of production, the larger measuring approximately 1/8 inch in diameter. A portion of one or both handles has undergone professional and sensitive restoration at some point in the vase's history; there has been overspray on the handles and on the area from the neck to the crimp that makes it impossible to tell the extent of this restoration, which is not visually distracting and only visible under strong blacklight. A fine example of Ohr's oeuvre that combines classical forms with turn-of-the-century American craft.
