  • Height 7 1/4  in., 18.4 cm
of square form with indented corners, finely enameled to two sides with winter riverscape scenes, each depicting a scholar in a pavilion surrounded by snow-covered trees and mountains, accompanied by a poetic verse, followed by a signed and dated inscription and two artist seals, the other two sides each inscribed with a long poem, accompanied by a signed and dated inscription and two artist seals, the base with a four-character seal mark in iron red reading Xuren chupin ('made by Xuren')
