Description

  • Diameter 5 1/8  in., 12.8 cm
the compressed globular body rising from three splayed feet to a short neck with a wide everted lipped rim, the bronze patinated to a deep golden-brown color, the underside cast with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark within a rectangle

Collection of Major Oswald Stanhope Benbow-Rowe (1890-1940), and thence by descent.

In overall good condition with some expected minute dents and minor wear to the rim and surface.
