each finely potted and enameled at the center with a scholar on horseback, turning to watch an attendant throw a sword, the rim with alternating butterflies and scattered peach blossoms, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark in underglaze blue within a double circle (3)

Condition

One dish in generally good condition with only minute frits to the rim and footring. One dish with a restored break through the center; a long hairline crack from the rim; and minor chips to the rim and footring. One dish with a restored break at the rim and cavetto (including an associated filled section); and a long hairline crack from the rim with an associated restored small chip.
