Description

  • 16.5 cm, 6 1/2  in.
cast seated in dhyanasana on a lotus pedestal base with cloth draped down the front, the left hand clutching a chatra, the body adorned with elaborate jewellery, wrapped with a bellowing celestial scarf around the shoulders and arms, the face of a benevolent expression framed by pendulous earrings and surmounted by an elaborate five-point diadem surrounding a high chignon, traces of polychrome

Condition

This crisply cast bronze is in good condition with the exception of light rubbing to the decoration on the hands and face. The base is closed.
