Description

  • 9.7 cm, 3 7/8  in.
the pear-shaped body rising from a tall foot to a flaring mouth, the exterior intricately carved with two taotie masks enclosed by registers of confronting archaistic kui dragons at the foot and shoulder, all below a border of sinuous chilong at the rim, the stone of a pale green colour

Condition

Apart from some very minute nicks, this is in overall fairly good condition. The colour of the vase is slightly more celadon than illustrated.
