Description

  • 19.5 cm, 7 5/8  in.
of rhombus section, the protruding centre supported on a high spreading foot surmounted by a tall neck and everted rim, finely incised to the centre with a taotie pattern, with stylised plantain leaves extending to the neck and down to the foot, all between keyfret borders at the rim and foot, the stone of an even white tone

Condition

some small areas of losses to two of the top corners, in consistence with its natural flaws, some other very minute nicks to extremities, otherwise in overall fairly good condition. The colour of the vase is slightly more celadon tone than illustrated.
