Description

  • 38.5 cm, 15 1/8  in.
the rounded body rising from a splayed foot to an elongated neck and flared rim, carved around the shoulders with a stylised ruyi-head border and with a foliate scroll around the neck, decorated with a plantain leaf band under the rim, the base inscribed with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark in underglaze blue

Condition

This vase is in fairly good condition, with the exception of some scratches to the glaze and firing imperfections, including pin pricks and iron spots.
