Description

  • 7 cm, 2 3/4  in.
carved recumbent with the hind legs tucked beneath the rotund body and the head facing forward, the tail folded between the legs, pierced through the body with a round aperture, the well-polished pale celadon stone with attractive russet highlights

Condition

This carving is in very good condition, with the exception of very minor nicks to the extremities and natural inclusion to the left rear leg. The actual colour of the stone is slightly paler than the catalogue illustration.
