Description

  • 12.7 cm, 5 in.
of oval form, skilfully reticulated with a pair of cranes flying amidst lotus blooms and clusters of foliage, with a smaller bird above, enclosed by a border of circular forms, pierced to the base with six pairs of small apertures, the stone of a pale celadon tone

Condition

This plaque is in fairly good condition. There are expected minute nicks to the extremities, and natural inclusions to the stone. There are some minor chips to the interior edges of the base. The actual colour is of a more grey-ish celadon colour than the catalogue illustration.
