Description

  • 34 cm, 13 3/8  in.
the tapering body rising from a spreading recessed base to a round shoulder and surmounted by a narrow waisted neck with lipped rim, boldly painted to the exterior with two five-clawed dragons writhing amongst flame scrolls in pursuit of flaming pearls, their mouths open to reveal their sharp fangs, the body covered with green scales

Condition

This meiping is in good condition, with several shallow rim chips and frits to the foot and scattered iron spots and pin pricks to the glaze throughout.
