Description

  • 26 cm, 10 1/4  in.
of compressed pear shape, the broad rounded sides rising from a spreading foot to a tall cylindrical neck, flanked by two vertical tubular handles, covered overall with a rich turquoise glaze with minute crackle draining from a greenish-blue at the rim and pooling to a deeper tone on the body, mounted at the rim and foot

Condition

This vase is in general good condition with the exception of a small glaze chip near the rim visible beneath the mounting. There are very minor surface scratches, and minor glaze inconsistencies including a small adhesion to the exterior of the body, and tiny burst bubbles and iron spots in some areas. There is some wear to the gilding.
