- 21.3 cm, 8 3/5 in.
the shallow rounded sides rising from a short spreading foot to a straight rim, covered in a thick lavender-blue glaze thinning to a mushroom tone at the rim and stopping short of the foot, Japanese wood box
Condition
There are two areas of restoration to opposite sides of the rim (1.2cm by 3mm and 1.4cm by 3mm respectivly). There are some scratches to the glaze to the interior and a some minor firing-related glaze cracks to the interior and the exterior.
