commissioned to commemorate the Emperor Qianlong's victory in Central Asia (1755-1759), comprising scenes of battlefields, encampments, a victory banquet and a ceremonial presentation, mostly set in rugged, mountainous terrain

Condition

There are tears to the mounts of each print and some general staining and foxing throughout. Please see more detailed report of each print below. Battle of Oroi-jalatu - There is some tears t the lower edge and damage to the bottom right hand corner. . Victory Banquet Given by the Emperor for the Distinguished Officers and Soldiers - There is damage and repair to the right and side and lower right corner, as well as lesser damage to the lower left hand corner and some creasing throughout. Receiving the Surrender of Yili - There is some restored creasing to the lower centre. The Emperor is presented with Prisoners fro the Pacification of Muslim tribes -There is a repaired tear to the right hand side as well as another tear. There is a repaired diagonal tear running from the top left hand corner and others to the top edge.There is some damage to the lower left section. The Battle of Arcul- There is a large damaged and repaired section to the lower right hand corner and a repaired damaged area to the lower left. There is some creasing throughout . Storming of the Camp at Gadan-Ola - There is a restored tear to the lower centre, as well as to the right hand edge. There is some damage to the upper right edge and some staining throughout the upper section. The Emperor in the suburbs Personally receives News of the Officers and Soldiers Distinguished in the Campaign against the Muslim Tribes -There is damage and repair to the lower sections. The Chief of Us Surrenders with His City - there is a large area of damage and repair to the top left corner. The Battle of Qos-Qulaq - There is a repaired horizontal tear to the lower section and a tear to the right of this. The Battle of Khurungui - There is a repaired tear to the upper left section and damage to the lower central edge. Lifting of the Siege at the Black Water River - There is a repaired tear to the right hand side and one to the lower left. There is a tear to the upper left edge. The Victory of Khorgos - There are tears to the lower edge to the centre and a damaged and repaired area to the right of this. There is also a repaired tear the upper edge to the centre. The Chief of Badakhsan Asks to Surrender - There are repairs to the lower right section and some repaired creases to the lower right and a tear to the lower left edge. The Battle of Yesil-kol-nor - There is a damaged area to the lower centre.
