Half title, mounted chromolithographed frontispiece, 3 folding maps, 8 mounted photographic plates, 12 lithographed plates; marginal repair to frontispiece, not affecting image, one or two stray spots, not affecting images or maps. Original pictorial green cloth printed in black and gilt, bevelled boards, top edge gilt, green coated endpapers; some rubbing to extremities, corners a trifle bumped, small scuff to upper board, just affecting image.
