Manuscript documents in Spanish with passages in Latin, 144pp. on 88 ff, folio (315 x 220 mm), Philippines (Pueblo de Bigan [Vigan], Pueblo de Lingayen, Manila, et al), ca 1661-65. Several gatherings stab-stitched together at spine, with portions written on stamped sealed paper (Arms of King Philip IV of Spain "Sello quarto, un  quartillo años demil y seiscientos y cinquenta y ocho y cinqenta 7 nueve"), and others on brittle rice paper. Chips and faults to rice paper, with some sheets split, some holes and wrinkles to last few leaves.

A fascinating collection of manuscript documents relating to the Inquisition in the Philippines, signed by various parties including Alonso Solibuen, Simon Sanchez, Don Geronimo de Legua, Juan de Castaneda, Juan Caso de la Vega, Juan de Gloralez, Nicolas de las Infantas y Venegas, et al, and addressed to Don Geronimo de Legua, the Commissario de los officios de la Inquissission. Includes an autograph presentment by Legua, against a priest names Isidro Lopez de Tobar, who had the misfortune of offending de Legua.
