Half-title, 20 hand-colored aquatint plates, each within pink wash border; one or two stray spots not affecting images, gatherings separating (between pp. 86-87). Contemporary red straight-grained morocco, covers elaborately bordered in gilt and blind, spine with raised bands in five compartments, second gilt-lettered, other with repeat filigree motif in gilt, all edges gilt; edges rubbed.
