2 volumes extended to 4, 4to (10 11/16 x 7 5/16 in.; 270 x 181mm). Title-pages printed in red and black, 450 engraved plates; some foxing throughout, offsetting, occasional dampstaining. Full dark green levant morocco, bound by F. Bedford, boards elaborately ruled in gilt with richly tooled gilt cornerpieces, spines with raised bands in six compartments, second and third gilt-lettered, others with elaborately tooled floral motif in gilt, all edges gilt, inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers; some shelfwear, corners of vol. iv bumped, some rubbing to heads and tails of spines.
